課程概述 |
This course aims to teach students how to write a research paper in MLA style.
The text for analysis is Shakespeare’s As You Like It. Students will go through the writing process—from sketching a topic outline and research proposal, through assembling items for a working bibliography and notetaking, to the final stage of drafting, revising and proofreading—until the paper is polished for presentation in class.
|
課程目標 |
As Shakespeare’s As You Like It is the text for in-depth study, students will not only acquire research skills but gain access to Shakespearean scholarship. Oral reports will enhance students’ persuasiveness in speech and debate. |
